LBDS hires new Technical Service Manager (Wade Rummel)

LBDS is very happwade rummely to announce that Wade Rummel will be joining Lallemand Biofuels & Distilled Spirits in the position of Technical Service Manager. In this role, he will have responsibility for assisting sales and plant personnel in the evaluation of process optimization, fermentation performance criteria, review of current methods, and for testing accuracy and repeatability via various techniques and equipment.

Previously Wade has held leadership positions in the production management field with a focus on process measurement and improvement for better efficiency factors. He brings with him over 4.5 years of ethanol plant experience. Wade started his career with the Hawkeye group and transitioned to the Flint Hills group in Shell Rock, IA and recently was with Homeland Energy. His duties involved not only production but also development programs for safety, compliance and reliability. Wade was involved with process projects that improved plant capacity’s and mass balance calibrations.

Wade was also a proud former Marine (Honorable Discharge, Medal of Excellence) and continued his duties protecting Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station.

Wade is married to Jami and has two children Maddison and Hayden. Both kids are very active in sports and in their free time during the warmer months enjoy going camping, fishing and enjoying the outdoors.

We are very happy in welcoming Wade to the Lallemand family.
